Here is where I will try (hosting space willing) to put up as many full-length B&K shows as I can. There are directly from my archives, and they are completely UN-edited . You will hear them exactly as they were aired, including music and commercials. For Syracuse listeners, it will be familiar. If you heard us in Birmingham, you’ll hear the show the way it was MEANT to be. -Including some traffic reports for roads you’ve never heard of! Our news/traffic guy’s name was ‘Rick’.
This is time-consuming for me, so I urge you to please email me at ken@beanerandken.com with any comments or suggestions. I don’t know how many of these behemoth files my server will let me post, so I may end up having to do some sort of rotation. Perhaps I can keep a dozen or so available per month. Ideally, I’d like to put every damn one out here for you, but sadly I haven’t found a way to make my scanner print hundred dollar bills just yet! (Just KIDDING Secret-Service.) Feel free to download as much material as you wish from this site and share it with as many people as you want. Understand, however, that all material produced,written, or otherwise presented within the confines of this site, are/is the creative property of Guy Patton and Ken Heron. Thank you so much for the continued support! As time rolls on and the state of radio continues to deteriorate, let the audio found here remind you of what a great morning show could be. Beaner and I had so much fun entertaining all of you. It is with the sincerest heart that I tell you… Being a part of The Beaner & Ken Show was the absolute BEST time of my life. I have never been more proud of any job, and you all (y’all) were the BEST audience we could’ve hoped for. The words; “Thank You!” don’t seem to express what an honor it was to have been a part of it all. –Ken

Hey Alabamians! Some pretty amazing events have happened, and it looks like I will be returning to the great state of Alabama to kick-off 2010 in Huntsville! Davis Hawkins (King of All Radio) has offered me a seat across from “A Man Called Fish”. So… As of January 4th, 2010 I’ll be a part of The Go-Fish Radio Network, broadcasting out of Huntsville, AL. on “Rocket 95.1 The Rock of The Valley”! (Click Rocket for website.)

NEW B&K Audio…
Yes, as unlikely as it may sound, Ken has found some rare B&K audio that many of you have never heard. In January 2004 Beaner and Ken were doing the show out of Tuscaloosa, Al. As a result of a pretty morbid interview About death, the guys decided to create individual “Death Messages” to be aired ONLY in the event of either of their deaths. They each recorded a very sincere message while the other was out of the room. Neither Beaner nor Ken has heard the other’s recording… Until now! We decided to share this audio because we know how much you crave new B&K stuff, and because the show is, well… “Dead”. –So it’s apropos.
